Food that gets you in the mood.

So what kind of food gets us in the mood for sex? And what is the reason behind it? Well, you've be surprised to find out!


1: Oysters

Oysters are high in zinc, which is necessary for the production of testosterone. Also zinc contributes to normal fertility, sex drive and potency.


2: Dark chocolate

Dark chocolate is rich in flavonoids, an antioxidant that promotes healthy blood flow. But besides the flavonoids it also tasted good and dark chocolate releases the hormone serotonin, you know the good-mood-happy-making hormone and the amino acid phenylethyamine, which increases alertness and passion. 


3: Truffels 

In a lot of documents over the world truffels have come up to be one of the world's finest aphrodisiacs. apparently truffles replicate the smell of the male pheromone. This scent is called androstenone. Although this is really a luxury food you may think about it for that one special and romantic occasion.


4: Salmon (and other oily fish)

Salmon contains a great source of protein, and is packed with omega 3. While protein can be good for the stamina, the real deal is in the omega 3. Because this raises the serotonin levels in the brain and therefore gets you more in the mood. 


5: Garlic


Even though you probably didn't think Garlic can be sexy, it sure is. Wanna know why? Sure you do! Well, Garlic is high in allicin, what makes you feel more alert, increases your stamina en improves blood flow. And that last part is a good thing for the lad's.


6: Figs

Figs contains a lot of sugar, what gives you an immediate energie rush besides that it contain a lot of iron, which helpt to prevent fatigue, what makes you feel even more energized for those exciting activities .


7: Hot spices

Hot spices like chili pepers contains the component Capsaicin what gives the peppers their kick and heat. This component triggers the release of our endorphins what can change our mood.
