Adobong Pusit: Squid adobo

in #food5 years ago

Aloha Steemians!

TodayI tried to make a famous favorite dish of the Philippines call adobong pusit. Basically it’s an adobo squids, in short.

I watched a few videos before this attempt. And here it is! Let me know if I’m even close.

Here’s a somewhat flow of my attempt:

  1. sautéed garlic, onions, bay leaves, hot peppers, and crushed black peppers on hot oil.

  2. add suger and some fried shrimp paste. stir to mix.

  3. add squids and chopped tomato.

  4. mix and let cook for ten minutes on medium heat.

  5. Here’s the visual and result...,

I’m no cook nor expert but this dish is extremely delicious on a bed of romains and some added white rice.

Thank you so much for tuning into my food post. So, what do you think?! Is it something you might want to try or rather skip all together. Either way is ok with me.

And as always, until we meet again, have a wonderful day.

Thank u @stokjockey! It was a little too salty and fishy. I had fun sipping wine while cooking, though. 🤪 🙃
