Chicken Karahi - A delicious and special recipe in desi style
Today I Have a Delicious Recipe which is one of the most common Recipe in the Sub-continent especially in Pakistan and India. Recipe name is Chicken karahi.
Well winter is coming and use of meat will increase in winter because meat provide energy and heat to body. Many People will eat Chicken karahi in winter. You all must be thinking that what is karahi means? Basically karahi means that a bowl shaped frying pan which is also know as wok. and Chicken karahi is a specific recipe which is made in a wok with special ingredients, you can use beef and mutton meat and whatever meat you use the recipe name will be of that meat. If you use beef then it is beef karahi
Most people complain that when ever they cook, they put everything in recipe but still food do not taste delicious. I think they miss one ingredient from the recipe that is you must enjoy cooking, you cannot cook good food in hurry and stress. So relax while cooking and enjoy it.
Ingredients
Chicken 1 kg, Crushed black pepper to taste, Ginger & Garlic Crushed 1 tsp each, Cumin 1 tsp, Green Chilies 5 to 8, Crushed Dry Coriander 1 tsp, Yogurt 1 cup, Red Chilies chopped 5 to 6, Tomatoes 5 to 6, Green Coriander ½ bunch, Oil 4 to 5 tbsp.
Instructions
In chicken karahi onions are not used so mix all spices and ingredients in yogurt. Heat oil in a wok put Tomatoes in it and cook for 5 minutes then put chicken in it and cook it for 3 to 4 minutes put the paste of ingredients in it and cook it for 15 to 20 minutes. Mix it for 5 minutes with spoon so water dry out. Make sure all the water dry out. When it is fully cooked garnish it with coriander and ginger.
