“Community Oven”
I heard about this community oven project last year from local people. As soon as I heard it, I imagined that the outside oven place is going to be the very center of this town called Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Canada. A couple who has been organizing this project with people for a long time finally got permission from the town.
I bumped into them on their first day with community people. I took some photos. Their catch copy is “Cook together, Eat together, Be together. ” I love the concept!
You can just bring your ingredients and visit this outside oven, cook with everybody, have a conversation, eat yummy pizzas and then spend a nice time with people. It is very simple but we need this concept for our lives. I was really impressed with this positive action!
“コミュニティーオーブン”
このコミュニティーオーブンのことを、地元の人たちから、去年噂を聞いていました。このコミュニティーオーブンが、カナダ、ノバスコシア州のウルフビルという町の中心になるというイメージが話を聞いて直ぐ思い浮かびました。あるご夫婦が中心になってこのプロジェクトを進めてこられたようで、やっと町から正式に許可がおりたそうです。
このご夫婦と地元の方たちがこのオーブンを初めて公に使用する日に偶然出くわし、写真を撮りました。キャッチコピーは、“皆で料理し、皆で食べ、一緒になる” です。いいコンセプトですね！
材料を持って行き、みんなで作って、会話をし、美味しいピザを食べて、素敵なひと時を共に過ごす。とてもシンプルな概念ですが、私たちの暮らしに必要な事ですね。この前向きな行動にとても感銘を受けました！
