Homemade Pizza
Pizza is my favorite food! My favorite local pizza place sells pizza dough for $2.50 a ball, pepperoni and mozzarella cheese were on sale.....these were all clear indications that I should make some pizza.
I made 2 large pizzas for under $20
Cost: $18.00
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Oven Temp: 425 F
Ingredients
- Pizza Dough
- Pizza Sauce
- Pepperoni
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Green Olives
- Banana Peppers
- Real Bacon Bits
Also helpful: Nonstick cooking spray, pizza pans, pizza cutter.
Next time, I will cook them lower for a bit longer. Likely 400 degrees for about 25 minutes. They were delicious but you had to kind of prop up the end of the slice with your pizza as you were biting it. Homemade Pizza doesn't give you directions, so practice makes perfect here. I have also used this crust to make Breakfast Pizza using sausage gravy as the sauce and eggs, sausage, bacon, and cheddar cheese.
