Stuffed peppers in tomato and carrot sauce (recipe with photos)

Good evening Steemians friends, I hope you are well ... In this opportunity, I will explain the "step by step" to prepare some delicious "peppers stuffed in tomato and carrot sauce".

There are many variants for its preparation, this time we will combine meat with rice to fill our delicious peppers; let's put on the apron to start cooking.

To enjoy this delicious recipe...

You will need the following ingredients:

  • 2 large peppers
  • 250 grams of ground beef
  • 3 large sweet peppers (red and green)
  • 8 cloves of garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 1 branch of celery
  • 5 peppercorns
  • 6 branches of parsley
  • 3 olives
  • 5 capers
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 spoonful of liquid curry
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • cooked white rice

The first step will be: season and prepare the ground meat. Start by sautéing at medium temperature the 6 cloves of garlic (crushed) and finely chopped onion.

We add the sweet peppers (red and green) chopped small...

Add the chopped carrot, fry for 5 minutes at "medium-high" temperature.

It is the turn to place the olives and capers...

In this step, add the 2 laurel leaves and the powdered dressings: paprika, turmeric, cumin and sweet paprika. We add water (approximately 1 cup) and mix well.

Add the celery and chopped parsley as small as possible.

We add 5 crushed peppercorns...

Add the ground beef (previously cooked) and the 3 tablespoons of soy sauce and the liquid curry. We will let it cook on a "low" heat for 30 minute.

Dear friends, it is your turn to use our star ingredient. We will place a pot with enough water and when it starts to boil we add a pinch of salt and the peppers, we will let it boil for 10 minutes.

In this step: we will mix the ground meat that we had reserved with the white rice and we will begin to fill the peppers generously.

We place our peppers in a pot and put it for 20 minutes on a "medium-low" heat along with our delicious tomato sauce with carrot.

This sauce is super easy to make: we crush 3 ripe tomatoes (without seed), 3 cloves of garlic, 1 small carrot and a pinch of salt.
