By the way, I have to answer a question you made me: You must know that every actor in the world must know the teachings of Konstantín Sergueievich Alekseyev "Stanislavski", a great director from the end of the XIX and the beginnings of the XX century. He was always trying to find the best acting system, but having always in mind that this search never ends. He worked very hard with the imagination and its organic reactions to get the truth in the scene. Another great and admired russian teacher was Anton Chejov, whose plays are represented all over the world in every languaje too. Both of them are great figures of the "realistic" style in theater and creators of a tradition live until now. I admire a lot another great actor, director and researcher, Vsevolod Meyerhold, he was studet of Stanislavski but take his own way with his ideas of theater and art, he didn't follow the oficial line in art in that hard times. Antother writers that I admire are Dostoievski and Nicolai Gogol. Some years ago I did have the opportunity to work one month with a russian director and acting teacher, Jurij Alschitz, in México City in the UNAM, it was the most intensive and full of work and ideas workshop in my life!! But he works mainly in Germany, but travel a lot!! There's a big contribution from your coutry to every kind of art in the history of this world, from ancien times to recent years. I think there's no doubt!!
Maybe I don't know the people makin theater in Russia right know, but it must be a lot, and with great talent. Now I just owe you a little video in that post of mine, but it will come son!! :)
