ULOG Entry #1: Celebrating Grandma’s 84th Birthday
Age is just a number.
Proves this statement correct. A person’s sense of existence only stops when he’s no longer happy with his life.
My grandma had a blast when we woke her up in the morning with a birthday song to cheer her for another year. She was in tears. It's great to see your loved ones return the appreciation by telling you how glad they felt.
With my siblings
She often mentions that she wants to end living at 85, which is a just year away. I see her pain almost everyday and it hurts to know that the pain relievers doesn't work on her knee problem anymore. She has become resistant to the medications. God knows how much she had struggled to keep on living for us.
Up to this day, my family have been praying for her comfort. I wish the heavens would grant her a pain-free feeling so that she can still look forward to our success.
Behind the Scenes: My younger siblings personalizing her cake since she's into sweets. It's heartwarming seeing the kids do this for grandma. She deserves this.
Then, we took her to our favorite pizza place for dinner.
Extra scoop: My little brother on how he fancies chicken wings!
Again, happy birthday dearest Granny! More cakes to blow. You have to wait til I take you on an international trip, okay?
Lovelots,
Mai💕
