WOW! SISIG ESPESYAL?!😱

in #food6 years ago

Sisig is a traditional Filipino dish made from parts of pig head and liver. It is usually seasoned with calamansi, salt and chili pepper.

It is said that Sisig was first originated in Kapampangan dictionary meaning "to snack on something sour" and "salad". It usually refers to fruits, often unripe or half-ripe, sometimes dipped in salt and vinegar. It also refers to a method of preparing fish and meat, especially pork, which is marinated in a sour liquid such as lemon juice or vinegar, then seasoned with salt, pepper and other spices.

Well, the Sisig that I'm going to introduce you today is not just an ordinary sisig. It is special and can only be found in Iligan City!  😃

"Why is it special?"

Because it is a pancit sisig! Most sisig is made from pork right? But this sisig is made from chicken livers! Unbelievable right? 😱

"Why chicken then?"

For Halal purpose. Halal means "pork free".  So muslims can also eat and not to worry 😊

Savouring this pancit sisig feels like I'm in paradise.

Try this special pancit sisig made by ate Bechay at Wraps (Pedro Permites Rd, San Miguel Iligan City) for only Php 140.00! Cheap yet tastety!

So what are you waiting for? Buy na! 😉
