HOW TO MAKE SESAME BALLS (recipe)

Anyone who has ever eaten a SESAME BALLS must not have forgotten the taste of this cake. Simply sticky rice, mung beans, sesame, pickier then added a little coconut milk, but this little cake brings a lot of unique features. Traditional processing requires glutinous rice flour mixed with plain rice flour to be soaked, soak overnight, then bring out the water to squeeze the shell. Mung bean also must choose new beans, round nuts, fresh yellow, soak overnight and when cooked beans should be smooth. Ingredients:

  • 100g mung beans/ yellow beans
  • 100g white sugar
  • 250g sticky rice flour
  • 25g rice flour
  • 45g sugar
  • 240ml of water
  • 50g sesame seeds (for half recipe)/ almond slices

Method:

  • Mung beans are soaked (2-4h), then stew with water until the beans are soft, crushed or finely ground, then put in a saucepan, mix ​​with sugar, stir evenly when the mixture is thick, the island is heavier and try to touch fingers to see non-stick beans. Divide the beans into small pieces (about 24), round and put in the freezer compartment of the refrigerator for hardening (about 30 minutes)

  • Sticky rice flour, rice flour, sugar, mix well and half of the water into the mix, half of the remaining water slowly, just kneaded until the powder into a smooth dough.Divide the powder into equal parts larger than the beans (the number of beans is 24).

  • When the balls have floated to the top, keep stirring constantly so that the balls almost always covered by oil. If there is one part not covered by oil, that part is likely to crack, break / "explode". Fry the balls turn yellow.
