Brunch, from the English words breakfast and lunch, consists of a meal that, as its name suggests, is a mixture of breakfast and lunch. It's perfect for those weekends when you wake up late and you do not know if you want to have breakfast or lunch. It is usually served between 10 or 11 in the morning until 1 pm.
I did never had one around Madrid, but some day of these weekends that you get up a bit lazy, I'll have to try it, since I've seen on the Internet that there are many places where you can eat a good branch here.
Brunch, proveniente de las palabras ingles breakfast y lunch, consiste en una comida que como su propio nombre indica, es una mezcla de desayuno y comida. Es perfecto para esos fines de semana en los que te levantas tarde y no sabes si desayunar o comer. Normalmente se sirve entre las 10 u 11 de la mañana hasta las 13 horas.
La verdad que por Madrid nunca he llegado a tomar un brunch, pero algún dia de estos fines de semana remolones que te levantas tarde, tendré que probarlo, ya que he visto por internet que hay muchos sitios dónde poder comer un buen branch por aquí.
I prefer salty meals, I am usually more of this type of food than sweet one. For that reason,having some eggs with sausage, a toast with ham and cheese is perfect to be able to take a lot of energy for the day that awaits you.
Yo prefiero el salado, normalmente soy más de este tipo de comidas que de dulce. Por eso, unos huevos con salchicha, una tostada con jamón y queso es perfecto para poder coger muchas energías para el día que te espera.
There are people who mix the salty with the sweet, as in the next dish, where you can see some muesli with nuts and a sausage.
Hay gente que mezcla el salado con el dulce, como en el siguiente plato, en el que podéis ver algunos muesli con frutos secos y una salchicha.
Others prefer only sweet, like this fantastic bowl of yogurt with fruits, nuts and muesli.
