One of these eggs is a from a store bought carton and one is from a home-raised chicken.

If you can tell me which one is which in a comment I will upvote you.

Good luck.

Sort:

The left one is home laid. The color comes from the natural foods they eat. The store bought usually comes from birds that have been fed crumble only with no grasses or plant material, hence the very light color. The diet of the bird dictates the quality of the eggs.

the leftone is the HOME EGG... the yolk is more coloured

Easy, the one on the left. The yolk is a deeper orange indicating likely more lutein and zeaxanthin (carotenoids) - probably from being able to eat bugs and flowers and such. Remember chickens are omnivores. If that's not the case I'll eat the eggs :-)

i pick the one on the left - home egg. i eat home grown eggs and store bought eggs - never looked close enough to see if different. (i live in Australia so our yolks are at the bottom ) lol

Wow! That is super interesting. I think the one on the left is home raised. Waiting for the final decision!!!

I say left look at the colour 💯🐒

I say the one on the right is home raised. Looks like a bigger yolk.... interested to see which it is!

Right is home laid :-)
