The Best Fried Chicken in the World
Calling something the best fried chicken in the world is a pretty bold statement. Now obviously I havn't tried all the Fried Chicken in the world, but this is by far the best fried chicken I have ever had. The place is called Crisp and it's located in I believe the Lakeview neighborhood in Chicago.
Crispy BBQ & Seoul Sassy Wings
Yesterday my girlfriend and some friends went and visited the Half Acre Brewery in Chicago. For anyone who hasn't tried any Half Acre beers I'd suggest giving Daisy Cutter a try, by far one of my favorite beers. The rest of their beers are good, however one minor complaint I have is I feel pretty much all their beers for the most part taste like a slight variation of Daisy Cutter, so it's almost as if every beer is either a lighter or heavier version of Daisy Cutter. Had a blast there, they serve some great food as well.
But back to the fried chicken. After visiting the Dasiy Cutter tasting room we headed into Lakeview and went to grab some chicken wings and fried chicken which my girlfriends brother said would be the best chicken I'd ever eat. It's a small spot, it's community table seating which means you just plop down at a table with strangers which is fun and a unique way to meet some new people. The place apparently is always packed and rightfully so because it's amazing.
Buffalo & Crispy BBQ Wings - These Wings Are HUGE
The place has own numerous awards for best fried chicken in Chicago, best wings, etc, literally too many awards to mention. Unlike just a normal fried chicken place or wing place this is a korean bbq chicken place. They also serve Budda bowls and some asian rice bowls but they are known for their chicken. You can get wings, drumsticks or a half or whole chicken. You can get it regular, buffalo, but by far the best are the crispy bbq which isn't like AMerican BBQ its much lighter and hard to describe but a delicious sauce and other flavor they are famous for is their Seoul Sassy sauce
This is Considered Empty for this Place... It's ALWAYS Packed...
Upon doing some research apparently their secret is they double fry it in a pressure cooker and batter it in rice flower which supposedly gives it it's light cripsness.

They say that Japanese fried chicken is the best. I've been there and had it, and it is good, so you should try that if you ever get the chance.

Looks legit man. Korea fried chicken is generally really awesome. I ate bunch of it when I took a trip to Seoul, South Korea. I could tell from the pics that it was Korean fried chicken because the batter is a lot thinner than the American style. It's funny because when you eat it, it actually tastes fairly healthy lol.
I need to venture out to the USA one day.
I can only imagine how good it actually is in Korea. I absolutely loved this stuff, had the leftovers last night lol.

I agree with you, to say that a place has the best fried chicken has to be an extraordinary thing. It has to be very crispy, with the ideal flavor and if it is accompanied with a good sauce (BBQ for example), it would give my approval, although seeing the photos, it looks delicious!
