We often brought a box of chocolates to my grandma's house. It was always greeted with appreciation and rather than saving them for herself, she would immediately open and share with everyone in the room. After everyone had one, the box would be passed a second time.

    Every Valentine's Day my mom would include a coupon for a truffle from Bright's, our local candy store, in her newsletter. It was surprising how many of those coupons were redeemed!
