WOW BBQ!
After celebrating the great victory of PH in the recent GE14, it's time for me to have my own celebration with good food.
Recently, @danieldoughty brought me to this new Korean restaurant in City Mall called Wow BBQ. This restaurant offers a buffet Korean style barbecue with charcoal grills, built into the dining table.
This restaurant offers a fair price of RM 39 for adult and RM 19 for kids age from 6 to 12. Customers can also enjoy unlimited carbonated drinks, rice, soup, curry within 2 hours but no takeout is allowed. If you wish to extend your time, you will have to pay a full price as mentioned above.
Wow BBQ served both marinated and un-marinated barbecue meats buffet with lots of side dishes and condiments you can choose from.
There is also an ice cream counter for dessert after having your heavy and hearty meal. Kids are sure going to love it because the dessert is also a compliment and eat-all-you-can 😋

My personal review:
This restaurant offer diners a decent selection of meat buffet. The owner sure gives a little twist to the concept of Korean BBQ restaurant in Kota Kinabalu.
Unfortunately, this restaurant does not provide ssamjang paste or kimchi. The best way to eat Korean BBQ is when you wrap a piece of cooked meat on a lettuce, layer it with garlic and ssamjang paste. I often put some kimchi too, just to give a little extra flavor in my mouth.
And the two hours given are too short. It feels troublesome to enjoy our food and watch our clock at the same time.
Wow BBQ opens daily from 10 am until 11 pm.

We stayed almost 4 hours actually, staff and boss did not seem chasing us ... super bloated tummy... gila... we were charge accordingly...

got another place i found out better, same price, aircond, bigger tables and wider option of meat. Ada banyak garlic, ada Samjang paste, ada korean pan cakes juga. Djunction , Secret Garden. Lain kali we all go together.
