Foodie Adventures: Winter is coming, let's eat hot pot! | 吃货的世界：冬天快要到了，去吃串串火锅！

I would like to introduce to you what they call the "Skewers Hot Pot" which is your ingredients all on a skewer which makes it easier to dish out of the pot. To be honest, apart from it being convenient, I don't really get the idea of the skewers as prefer the normal way of hot pot which is to stir around to find your food in the pot. I guess its more fun like that, but thats just me.

It's the last month of Autumn in Australia and the weather has gotten a lot cooler lately. It's definitely the season to start visiting hot pot restaurants again.

On the left side of the pot is the duck and goji berry broth while on the right is the chilli oil broth. Both broths were tasty :) This place is an all-you-can-eat (buffet) hot pot restaurant and it was $35 AUD per person which was pretty cheap. They had a large range of meat, seafood and vegetables for you to pick. Unfortunately the sauce range was a let down because they didn't have a lot of the sauces that you would find at other hot pot restaurants. Worth visiting - will update again with the restaurant name once I find out as everywhere had only their Chinese name and we weren't able to read it 😅
