Passion Flower, Kingsford @ Sydney, Australia

It's finally the weekend again! Why not wind down after a tough and exhausting week with some dessert? Dessert?!! Yes, you heard us!

We have quite a sweet tooth and we're always looking for dessert parlours to hang out at after dinner on the weekends. Today we've got just the spot which we recommend if you're ever hanging around Kingsford in Sydney, Australia and it's no other but Passion Flower.

Passion Flower has been around for quite some time now. We use to visit this place occasionally back in our high school days. Yep, we spent most our week's pocket money here and growing up, this place has a sweet spot at heart.

When you walk past Passion Flower, you won't fail to miss through the floor-to-ceiling glass window and notice the variety of ice creams they've got at the front of the store. They have range of flavours which some you won't be able to find at your usual Copenhagen or Wendy's (do they still exist?). Example? Sticky Rice, Lychee Rose, Pandan, Black Sesame, Durian, Azuki Red Bean... Intrigued?

They've got MANY of mouth watering sundaes, chocolate fondues, waffles, pancakes, crepes and a variety of drinks such as smoothies, frappes, teas and coffee.

So here's what we ordered at our recent visit:

Double Happiness (green tea and azuki red bean ice cream with red bean paste and Japanese mochi)

 

Lasting Love (Mango and Strawberry ice cream with strawberries, kiwi and mixed fruit salad)

 

Dip, Swirl and Infuse (Chocolate fondue with strawberries and waffle bits)

 

This was shared amongst 4 people and we promise that there was no left overs - except the chocolate fondue. There was a really generous serving of chocolate that it was impossible to finish. I guess this also explains whether or not this place is good, right?

We visited on a Saturday night and so the place was fairly busy however the staff were very quick to take our order and serve the goodness. We also ordered tea and so for 4 people, it set us back at about $58AUD for the items we ordered that night.

This place also does take away and from the stickers on their window, they offer home deliveries via Foodora too! (Note: Only deliver to place within their delivery zone)

Would we visit again? Most definitely!
