Brunch like the Flemish [Ghent, Belgium]ベルギースタイルな泡ブランチ
Me and my friend met up for a quick brunch at a museum cafe before heading to her exhibition. Because it was such a sunny day (very rare for the usual rainy Belgian weather), we happened to order a bottle of Franciacorta and ended up chatting for three hours.
ベルギーの古都ゲントにて。大好きな友人が活躍中のお花の展覧会を見に来ました。軽くブランチのつもりで美術館のカフェでその彼女と待ち合わせたら.. ガラス張りのカフェのテーブルに太陽光がキラキラ注いでいたので、ついフランチャコルタをボトルで頼んでしまい。でもベルギーでは朝食から泡が提供されるのは普通なので、午前11時のボトルは多分okです。
My dish was Flemish Gray Shrimps, Avocado and Ruby Red Pomegranate seeds - what a delightful colour combination. I love Belgium, everyone seems to know how to enjoy a bottle of bubbles at 11am.
私が選んだのは、ベルギー人が愛してやまないグレーシュリンプ(北海でとれる甘くて旨味の詰まった小エビ)、アボカド、ルビー色のザクロの組み合わせ、ライムをぎゅっと絞って。色合いが美しい...。美術館のカフェでこのレベルって、さすが美食の国です。
