Boodle Fight : Eating and sharing in a fun and exciting way =)

Eating even the simplest dishes and food can be always be fun and enjoyable if shared with our friends and loved ones. Sabi nga sa atin " Masarap kumain kapag nag aagawan, kahit pa tuyo at kamatis ang ulam."

One of the most famous and in trend practice way of eating for us Filipinos is Boodle Fight , this is mostly practiced during outings and family reunions ( aminin! haha) . Nowadays, it is also offered mostly in restaurants since people really enjoy it.

As we all know, in A Boodle Fight , food is normally served on banana leaves and eliminates the use of cutlery and dishes and promotes eating with the hands ( kamayan) instead .

My Dubai family decided that we do our own version at home. This happened on a Friday , since its when we are mostly complete. We arranged for each family / individual to prepare the dish they would like to share and we ended up having the following :

1. Inihaw na Liempo ( Grilled pork belly)
2. Chicken Adobo
3. Grilled Tilapia
4. Pakbet ( My Favorite)
5. Steamed rice ( madaming madaming rice)
6. Boiled Egg
7. Eggplant ( Grilled)
8. Condiments ( Di kumpleto pag walang sawsawan; bagoong and toyo na may kalamansi at sili)

We have arranged all these dishes and here is the outcome:
