My #Ulog 012 : The Extinction of Patriots

As I was feeling so depressed and have to walk by myself, I have this certain surge of craving a cheezy plate. And I end up with this tiny serve of pizza on a plate, good for myself. It must be so messed up today especially that today is a local election day and I'm not so fond of **SK elections** due to several disappointments of their service successively. They promised countless of platforms and ended up organizing a disco during barangay fiestas. I even observed and experienced how they truly neglect the true inner issues of the areas they promised to serve and are blinded by the opportunities being hand to them, using them for their own personal interest. How about the other interest? As a teenager, one of the essential interest that we must uphold was to protect and nourish our ecosystems or environment, and if we're already experiencing its extinction, then maybe pursuing its revival to secure years of our next generation is so much more promising than organizing a week of entertainment during festivities. Many of us felt the sweet bitterness of reality but only a few had lived to change and undertake it. We only realize our shortcomings when natural disasters like flash floods already hit our areas and leaving destructions to our agriculture, properties, and even lives. They say that the youth is the hope of our nation, but how can it be when we fail to face reality and overlooked essential things just because they are too small for our perceptions? I just hoped that someday I could find politicians that would stand to their promises and stop acting like one of those who care for the masses' sake but is one who'll truly do.
