Homemade Pork Sisig
Pork sisig is originated in the province of Pampanga. It is a chopped belly and meat mixed with mayonnaise. It was a popular appetizer which most restaurants here in the Philippines do their own version of Pork Sisig. Quite expensive when you bought it specially for those known restaurant.
Heres me and my sisters homemade pork sisig :)
Ingredients:
1 kilo Pork Belly
2 large onion , minced
5 Green Chili (Siling labuyo)
3 tablespoon soysauce
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
1/4 Salt
1 egg
6 cups water
4 tablespoon mayo
1/2 can liver spread
Procedure:
- Pour the water in pan and bring to boil. Add salt and pepper.
- Put 1 kilo pork belly and simmer for 40 minutes
- Removed pork belly into pan and drain.
- Friend the pork belly in oil until done.
- Chop the pork belly into fine pieces
- In a cooking pan mix pork belly chopped, mayonnaise, liverspread, onions and chili and add 1 egg , plus salt and pepper.
- Mix well and transfer to serving plate.
- Serve , Share and enjoy!
