A person may not be a fat by choice because everyone likes to be smart and look good to others. It is embarrassing that other people make fun of an overweight person. Well, I've seen various social experiments on YouTube and man, I was totally speechless when I saw the video of "WWYD".

No wonder why we see that US people spend way too much money on diet products and weight loss programs. For most people, being fat may not be their mistake but for others, it is probably their own mistake by not doing any kind of prevention while eating the food.

Nothing can help you lose weight if you don't stop taking junk food. You can experiment with countless products but you won't be able to lose any weight until you stop consuming such food. In this article, we'll discuss the foods that you should avoid if you want to lose weight. When you start doing these preventions, you can start your diet plan and you'll be amazed by the results.

# 1 - Candy bars:

I don't know how someone can dislike candy bars and that's a sad reality. Candy bars are extremely unhealthy as it contains a lot of sugar and they are super high in calories. Most of the ingredients of candy bars are the some of the biggest contributors to making person gain weight.

Well, it's fine to eat candy bars once or twice a week but don't consume it on daily basis. If you want to eat something sweet so badly, eat some nuts and use the sweet fruits such as Apple, Mangoes and other delicious fruits. They won't only taste good but would also contribute to improving your health.

# 2 - Potato chips:

All of us are aware that boiled potatoes are good for overall health, but there's a big difference between boiled potatoes and potato chips which are fried in oil (french fries). It's quite possible that you'd end up eating too many potatoes and due to the increased oil, you can run into serious health troubles.

According to one of the studies at ScienceDirect, eating too many fried or roasted potatoes can even cause cancer while other studies reported that potato chips make you gain weight quicker than any other food.

# 3 - Sugar-sweetened drinks:

I must say that it's quite difficult to avoid drinking sugar-sweetened drinks, as we all love to have some sweetened drink when eating the meal. I'm one of such people but fortunately, I'm not fat enough so I am less careful about getting overweight. Also, my consuming is within the limits. I don't drink sugar-sweetened drinks on daily basis, but only like twice a week and that too would be one glass only.

Nowadays, people use coca-cola to clean the toilets etc and there are many experiments on YouTube which clearly shows that cold drinks are extremely dangerous for health, and if you want to lose weight, just stop drinking those drinks and you'll see a huge improvement.

Avoiding these foods when trying to lose weight will help you lose weight more quickly than before. Without preventing yourself from those foods, you won't be able to lose weight (or you'd lose it just for short-term).
