MANCHESTER CITY VS ARSENAL - MATCH REVIEW

The league is now getting tougher for Liverpool. They are just two points ahead of Manchester City after yesterday's matches. Well, they still have a match to play. If eventually they win Westham today, they will be 5 points ahead as usual. City isn't ready to give up yet. We saw that in yesterday's match. They will be playing Chelsea next week; let's just hope they bring in their A game.

The match at Etihad was an interesting one. There were lots of actions right from the first minute to the last minute of the game. It wasn't up to a minute before the first goal of the match came in. City's first attack led to the goal. Iwobi had a chance to clear the ball out, but he was challenged for it. The ball got to the waiting legs of Laporte who crossed it out to the penalty box. Aguero was there to head it into the post. It was the fastest goal in EPL this season.

Manchester City had another opportunity to score one more goal, but Arsenal's defence did better. In the 11th minute, the gunners got their first corner. Torrera crossed the ball, and Monreal was there to head it. It didn't go straight into the post, but rather, it went to the waiting head of Koscielny. The French man made it 1-1. Just when we thought the first half will end in a draw, Aguero scored another goal in the 44th minute. A beautiful style of play led to the goal. The Argentine just had to play the ball into a free post. He was assisted by Sterling.

Manchester City also won the second half. Aguero scored his third goal in the 61st minute making the scoreline 3-1. Although, there were arguments if the goal should be counted; Aguero's hand made contact with the ball before it got into the post, but the referee was convinced it's a goal anyway. Arsenal tried everything to get a goal, but they couldn't. They brought in their new signing, Denis Suarez. But the young man doesn't look fit yet. It's City's time this week. Can we say the same for them next week? It's only a matter of time to find out.
