Solskjaer finally experienced his first loss since he was named Manchester United's coach. Although we never expected a loss yesterday, but football is football. Sometimes you can't just predict what will happen. You might be wondering why we didn't expect a loss since the opponent is a big team. PSG had four of their keys absent due to injury. This year had been terrible for them. Neymar, Cavani, Muenier and Rabiot were all out due to injury. But PSG was composed. Thomas Tuchel was able to arrange a perfect formation that defeated the red devils.

PSG played a 4-3-3 formation with Bernat, Kipembe, Thiago Silva and Kehrer as the defenders. Veratti and Marquinhos both played the defensive midfield position, while Draxler was the attacking midfielder. The unexpected was having Daniel Alves in the attacking position. He was paired with Mbappe and Dmaria to lead the attacking role.

Manchester United on the hand also played the usual 4-3-3 formation. The squad that has been winning their matches since the arrival of the new coach. Young, Bailey, Lindelof and Luke Shaw were the defenders. Pogba, Matic and Herrera held the midfield, while Martial, Lingard and Rashford attacked.

Both teams were cautious of conceding a goal when the match started. PSG got the first attempt of the match though. A good shot from Dmaria, but it was off target. Manchester United got their first attempt minutes later. It was their only shot on target in the match. Rashford was able to deliver a great shot, but Buffon saved the day. The first half wasn't really exciting. Both teams had little or no chances of scoring. There were couple of fouls and the referee didn't hesitate to give yellow cards. Martial and Lingard suffered minor injuries and they were replaced with Sanchez and Mata in the start of the second half.

PSG got control of the ball in the second half. They had attempts that almost led to a goal till they finally had the goal in the 53rd minute. A goal from Kimbempe. He was in the right place to receive the corner kick from Dmaria. De Gea couldn't do much then. Seven minutes later, Mbappe got into the score sheet.

Again, Dmaria was the man that got the assist. Manchester United couldn't handle the pressure though, they kept commuting fouls. One of the fouls sent Pogba off. He would be missing the return league. Luke Shaw also made an unnecessary attack that gave him a yellow card towards the end of the match.

Thiago Silva was the man of the match. The Brazilian was composed in the back line. He had the same ratings with Dmaria and Mbappe, but he was simply class.

Roma and Porto also played yesterday. Roma had the day with a 2 - 1 win. Champions league continues today, so we would have more match reviews. Until then.
