Football Monday: Another Day with Steem in the Field
Hi all,
Mondays are normally ghost town days in this part of my country. This means that people are can go to their job sites, business can not open their doors and even learning institutions (schools) do not operate.
As such, I always go to watch local football played some older boys in my neighborhood at a field located just a few meters from my house.
There is always a lot of fun and excitement associated with these games and I do not always miss watching them when I am opportuned to be at home in the evening.
Here are a few photos of the some actions
The field is very dusty as you can see. It is because of the sunny weather conditions that we are currently facing.
Rule of the Game
The are two teams. One team is the upper part (where I am resident) and the other is the lower part of my neighborhood. Anyone residing in any either of the parts can only play for that team.
The losing team will have to play the next match without a jersey until the day they get to taste victory.
For today's game, the upper part (my team) was putting on Jerseys and we still won the game by two goals to one.
