Fast talking futsal identity Rob Caruso has done wonders with his new club Perth AFC, mixing football and futsal into one big club, that caters for all tastes.
Caruso, 34, who also serves as the President of Perth AFC, has been questioned on several occasions regarding the number of above average looking woman who have joined the club, but has never given a straight reply to the press, at least not on the record.
No one really knows the selection practices at Perth AFC, is it random chance, or is there something more sinister from the likeable young Italian?
Strangely, nobody seems to be complaining, with Perth AFC experiencing major growth from juniors to senior mens and womens in their inaugural season.
What many like about Caruso, is his devotion to all forms of the game, be it junior futsal, 11 a side socials and the like. He has put into practice his plan of having a truly mixed football club, where players can try out different training and forms of the game.
Regardless, Perth AFC is a club on the rise, with their headlining mens futsal side sitting in the Top Four of the SFL Championship division, eyeing promotion this season. We wish them all the best.
