Although a decision is yet to be made as the hearing would be done later this week and the recommendation tendered.

Former Belgium prime minister and chairman of the investigation, Yves Leterme is yet to make a decision on the findings.

In a case like this, voting on the punishment to be metted out is not voted for, hence, the decision rests with the investigation chairman. Majority of the committee members however feel that the judgement may turn against City.

First set of this investigation popped up when leaks of vital information were released by German outfit leaks, Der Speigel.

Man City are accused of having broken the UEFA Financial Fair Play Rule by overstating the value of a multi billion pound sponsorship deal. They were fined £49 million in 2014.

After the findings of the investigating Committee, the UEFA adjudicatory body would decide whether it would consider the recommendation of the findings within 48 hours.

Although it may not affect City for next season's Champions League as they may appeal the ban and probably take it to the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS), it would be a major debt for the England champions who are looking to win the champions league title for the first time.

City are also under potential transfer ban from the FA and Premier League, having been alleged in dealing wrongly, signing young players.

The City management have come out to deny any undoing and UEFA has refused to comment further on an ongoing investigation
