Matic Blow For United

Jose Mourinho and the Manchester United physio team would have a lot on their hands through the international break as midfielder, Nemanja Matic has returned to England for assessment.

The former Chelsea midfielder withdrew from his Serbia's camp due to suspected injury concerns.

This means he would miss the Euro Nations League games against Montenegro and Romania in the coming days.

The 30-year old has been impressive for United since joining from Chelsea and also featured for the entire 90 minutes as the Devils came from two goals down to defeat West Ham 3-2.

Matic is now a big doubt for their next big game which is against both his and Mourinho's former team, Chelsea on October 20 after the international break.

The Serbian is not the only concern for Mourinho as Luke Shaw is also out injured which prompted Gareth Southgate to invite Leicester City's Chilwell to replace the United defender.

Mourinho has been under immense pressure leading to the West Ham and some outlets reported his imminent sack regardless of the outcome of the game but the board publicly insisted they were with their manager.

The former Real Madrid handler has also come out to hit out at critics saying he's a victim of man hunt.
