Portugal Win inaugural UEFA Nations League
The inaugural edition of the UEFA Nations League ended in grand style on Sunday night after Portugal pipped Netherlands by a lone goal.
Portugal who saw off Switzerland in the semifinals, inspired by a Cristiano Ronaldo hatrick were up against a very youthful Dutch side led by Champions League Winner, Virgil van Dijk.
Netherlands had seen off one of the favorites of the tournament at the semifinal, England, who picked third place ahead of Switzerland.
In a tightly contested game which was played from end to end till the final blast of the whistle, there looked to be headed into deadlock at the end of full time.
