Transfer Gist: Arsenal Complete £7 million Guendozi Deal

Arsenal continue business like unusual after completing the signing of young French International, Matteo Guendozi for £7 million from Lorient.

The 19-year old started from. The ranks at Paris Saint Germain before moving to Lorient's Academy in 2014 and then making a breakthrough at Lorient in 2016.

Although they got Relegated that year,, Guendozi went ahead to prove his worth in Ligue 2, making 30 appearances for the club.

The France U20 star can play in defensive and Central midfield. He resumed training with his new teammates on the same day he put pen to paper.

Guendozi becomes Unai Emery's fifth signing as Arsenal coach, following the arrival of goalkeeper Bernd Leno, Stephan Lichsteiner, Lucas Torreira and Sokratis Papastathopulos.
