Transfer Gist: Real Madrid Finally Land Eden Hazard

Real Madrid have completed the signing of Chelsea star man, Eden Hazard for a fee reportedly rising to the tune of £130 million plus bonuses.

The transfer of Hazard to Madrid has been in the offing for a couple of years now and the two clubs were involved in a week-long negotiation for him.

The Galaticos were reluctant to bulge beyond their £88 million valuation of the Belgian but later agreed to pay a fee that could rise to as much as £130 million, which they believe is very much achievable.

Following the announcement on Madrid's official website Hazard would be unveiled on Thursday, 13th June, after completing his medicals.

He becomes the second major signing of Zinedine Zidane this summer in his rebuilding process, following the signing of Luka Jovic from Eintracht Frankfurt.

Hazard joined Chelsea from Lille in 2012 and went on to make 520 appearances, scoring 110 goals and winning two Premier League titles, One FA Cup, one League Cup and two Europa League titles.
