THE MUCH ANTICIPATED EL CLASSICO

The El classico is here again where Real Madrid football club will be facing Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabue. This is certainly the clash of the titans where form is "thrown out of the window".
Since the beginning of this 2017/2018 season, Real Madrid have had an upper hand beating Barcelona in a home and away fixture to clinch the Spanish Super Cup.

The recent defeat suffered by Barcelona in the hands of the Los Blancos in the Spanish cup made Ernesto Valverde to be the first Barcelona coach to lose two consecutive El classico matches in a row. On the hand, Real Madrid boss, Zinedine Zidane is looking forward to becoming the first Real Madrid coach to win the El classico fixture three consecutive times.

The El classico was made more popular with both rival clubs parading the two world's finest players, Ronaldo and Messi.
Messi is the highest goal scorer in the El classico scoring a record of 24 goals. Ronaldo has 17 goals, but we shouldn't forget that he joined the Spanish league at a later date after Messi.
The D-day is tomorrow, 23rd December, 2017. Who is going to carry the day? Where will the pendulum swing to? Only time will tell!!
