France reaches the semifinals after 2:0 win over Uruguay
Opening Last 8 game between France and Uruguay in Nizhny Novgorod revealed the first semifinalist. Predictably it is Didier Deschamps’ side. Perhaps the Uruguay team lacked a bit more "claw" in the end, more determination in themselves. France knew how to play and manage time, making effective plays and the first goal was great from Varane. I think what ended up sinking was the tremendous mistake of Muslera, he did not have security in that play.
