PSG proved they are still the only dominant force in French football after convincing victory over their closest opponents Monaco in the Trophe des Champions clash. Thomas Tuchel’s team unleashed pure attacking fury upon the Monegasques forcing their keeper Diego Benaglio to perform number of good saves. Despite that the opener was scored on 33th minute by Angel Di Maria with perfectly executed left-footed free kick from outside of the box. Before the break hot prospect Christopher Nkunku added second goal to his side’s tally. In the second half Parisians completed destruction of Leonardo Jardim’s side with 2 more goals by Timothy Weah and Angel Di Maria. 4:0 for the final score and Trophee headed to Paris again.
