Harry Kane Goes to 1,000 Minutes Without a Premier League Goal in August

Tottenham Hotspur open the Premier League, the top division of the Premier League, this season with full points. But Harry Kane is still shaded by the "curse" of August.

Spurs won 2-1 on their visit to Newcastle headquarters on Saturday (08/11/2018) night WIB. Jan Vertonghen's goal was returned by Joselu before Dele Alli sealed the victory for the visitors.

In the match Kane, the 2018 World Cup top scorer, played for the Lily Whites. The England striker marked the first match of the season with a yellow card.

The result also extended Kane's inability to score a goal in the Premier League in August, although he never made less than 21 goals during the last four seasons of the event including being a fertile player in two seasons.

Kane has even headed for 1,000 goals without a goal in the Premier League match in August. In detail the BBC called it playing 14 Premier League matches in August, appearing 988 minutes with 46 shots released, without being able to make a goal.

The 25-year-old striker still has two chances to end the "curse" in August, when the Spurs host Fulham on the 18th and when visiting Manchester United's headquarters on 25th.
