Manchester City continue to cruise and attain control as they beat Watford 3-1 to move 4 points clear in 1st place over Liverpool. Raheem Sterling was the star of the show as he scored a hat-trick. The tie was tied at 0-0 after the first 45 minutes, but when the game restarted in the second half, Sterling scored. The first goal was controversial as the goal was initially cancelled, but after a review the goal was awarded. Sterling then scored again after 4 minutes in the 50th minute, and sealed his hat-trick after 9 minutes as he scored in the 59th minute.

Gerard Deulofeu pulled one back for Watford in the 66th minute but it was just a consolation goal for the visitors. With the win Manchester City now has 74 points with 30 games played. Liverpool will play Burnley today looking to cut the lead to 1 point with their game in hand.
