I'm really into the cryptoforestry thing
As we build and 'develop' land, we also start to leave behind the previously built environment. In these transitional spaces, nature starts to reclaim what we don't use, and a pretty specific aesthetic emerges.
For me Ankgor Wat or the post-industrial european towns, doesn't matter. I for one find these landscapes exciting and hopeful :)
