With NAFTA negotiations ongoing, the uncertainty around Canada's participation was ultimately CAD negative and USD/CAD kicked as a result.

Canadian Foreign Minister, Chrystia Freeland:

"We're looking for a good deal, not just any deal and we'll only agree to a deal that is a good deal for Canada."

This one is going to drag on, but ultimately Canada will surely become a part of any trade deal in the end and CAD will likely see some relief.

With USD/CAD coming off higher time frame resistance...

...I see a repricing to the short side being where the biggest move could come.

As a result, I'm still looking to sell rallies into previous short term support turned resistance such as this:
