Daily Forex #54 - PRICE IS THE SAME NO MATTER WHAT TIMEFRAME WE ARE LOOKING AT!

A few weeks ago I shared about how I accidentally stumbled on Forex and made a career out of it. To read that blog post, you can go HERE.

Yesterday (<-- Click this link to read yesterday's story) I compared Forex trading to an old car. You can read more about it HERE. I also mentioned that PRICE IS THE SAME NO MATTER WHAT TIMEFRAME WE ARE LOOKING AT!

As part of my support to students who have attended my courses before, I offer trading signals almost everyday. The reason I do so is let's be honest here, you are not going to learn how to become a super profitable trader after attending a 1 day or 2 days or 3 days course! It is almost impossible.

Therefore, as a form of after course support, I provide Revision Classes, LIVE Trading Sessions and Trading Signals. Becoming a profitable trader is a long term journey. Of course there are going to be people who pick up very quickly and become profitable immediately after learning the strategies. But this is rare. Majority of you are going to need to put in lots of time and effort into learning and practising the skills required to become a Forex trader.

So providing trading signals seem to be the natural thing to do, since I am trading everyday and I only need to take a screenshot of my pending orders and post it online and everyone would be able to view it.

Here is a screenshot of my trading signals for today :

So all you have to do is to key in the trades into your trading account and that's it. Just wait for the trades to trigger and collect money. Learn and earn on the job!

And then I get questions from students, "So what timeframe should I place the trades?"

What?? Why does it matter what timeframe you place the trades? Whether the trades are placed in the 1 minute timeframe or the 1 week timeframe DOES NOT make any difference!

PRICE IS THE SAME NO MATTER WHAT TIMEFRAME WE ARE LOOKING AT!

If the current price and this moment for EUR/USD is 1.18238, it doesn't matter which timeframe you change to, the price will still be the same!

In case you are wondering, I am not angry or frustrated at all when I receive questions like this. I was a new trader before and I understand that different people have different questions. In fact, I am happy that people are asking questions. This means that they are seriously interested to learn.

However, the better question should be, "So what strategy is this?" or "So what timeframe is this strategy?"

I just wanted to address this issue of "the price is the same in all timeframes" today because I have recently been asked this question by several students and I thought it would be important to share this with everyone.

Is timeframe important? YES!

Is price important? YES!

Is strategy important? YES!

Is lot size important? YES!

Which is the most important thing? All of the above.
