FotoFreitag: Maritime Quilts [Eng/Ger]
Some time ago I was at a patchwork exhibition and I especially liked three quilts with maritime theme. They were more three-dimensional than flat due to sewn objects attached to it.
Vor einiger Zeit war ich auf einer Patchworkausstellung und mir gefielen diese drei Quilts mit maritimer Thematik besonders gut. Sie sind mehr dreidimensional als flach durch die aufgenähten Objekte.
Dies sind die Regeln für den FotoFreitag von @RivalzZz:
- Suche dir 3-5 Bilder von einem Ort, Veranstaltung oder ein Ereignis aus. Es müssen deine Bilder sein. Es kann auch was kreatives sein, nur der Zusammenhang zu den Bildern sollte gegeben sein.
- Schreibe einen kurzen Zweizeiler zu den Bildern um was es sich genau handelt.

- Wenn du "möchtest", erwähne einen Steemian der den FotoFreitag beiwohnen sollte.

Thank you for sharing these photos, @muscara... I really love these quilts above, especially the seals. Are they made of velvet ?
There's been a lot here to celebrate the year of the sea too....
My future little challenges are learning how to make a crocheted octopus and a seal :D
The seals weren't made of velvet but it was a fabric that was a bit more soft than the other fabrics - that's why some parts of the pictures are a bit fuzzy. Difficult for the mobile to focus :)
And its a steemit art piece. Whales and other sea mamels really Nice
