Foxtales Contest Week 23- Mary

Tales told by moonlight, stories of a girl who lost it all, who phased into oblivion. A story of pain, a wound reopened everytime the story is told. Long time ago in a village up the hills of Scotland, lived Mary. The beautiful village girl, who is all her splendor was humble and kind. Mary worked the loom day and night to support her family. A father on his sick bed, a mother who forlorn them and a little brother whose smile kept the breath in her lungs. On this morning, Mary had woken up early as she always did, made breakfast for her brother and father and put her father's medicine beside his bed. Before the morning sun was bright, Mary was off to work and in this untidy shop, on this unfaithful day, Mary's life would change. She would meet pain in person. "Hello", a boy said taking her attention from her loom, to the masculine figure that stood in the doorway.
