The fifth Art Gallery Tour
Enthusiastic we went away with the sun shining in front of us to the first gallery visit that were at Konstepidemin. Four vernissages and one studiovisit were the result from Konstepinemin. The Gallery showed the unintentional, surface topography of Michaela Peterson and in the Glass House, textile art was presented by Gill Marshall titled Fragment then and now. In the Blue House there were large paintings and sculptural works in mixed materials with a birthday theme by Teodor Söderberg.
In Pannrummet you can see art by Lavinia Jannesson who has applied to the Fontaineblea forest for inspiration. "As I was standing on the hill, I thought I saw the forest begin to move".
In the open studio Kollegiet, guest artist Rocio Soto showed sketches, jewelry and oil painting.
Gallery Engleson showed paintings by Johanna Sjödin and Gallery Anna H (wich became the last gallery visit) showed glass in all its forms, by four glass artists. All well represented in Sweden and abroad.
Konstepidemin - The Gallery - Michaela Peterson
"As I was standing watch on the hill, I thought I saw the forest begin to move".

In the past I would find such places strange and creepy. I didn't understand these paintings and sculptures with no sense and what was worse was that people would pay a lot of money for these pieces! Over time I learned to appreciate art and the imaginary world that is coming hand in hand with that. I love to visit various exhibitions now and I even look for the ones that I would consider creepy in the past.
Your photos are very nice and I can see that it was truly worth to visit this place. There is a large variety of art and all of them are so different. How much time did you spend there?
Thank you for sharing and have a nice day!
We follow galleries and the vernissages every week in Gothenburg. There will be many hours worked in total. Thank you for your words!

Wow. I so miss those environments. So cozy
I'd have loved more details on some of the pieces, but I guess with so much to show that would have made a huge post.
It's a great window to this incredibly vast world.
Great exhibit.
Soem are disturbing (I still have an inclination for clean, lively art--I have enough obscurity in my real life as it is), but overall it was a great visit. Thanks for sharing.
