Slow Coming Day ist eine amerikanische Indie Rockband, die sich aus Orion Walsh (vocals, guitar), Dave Stoots (bass) und Matt Bailey (drums) zusammensetzt. Nachdem die Gruppe ihre erste EP „A Part of Me Died“ selbst veröffentlichte erschien ihr Album “Farewell
to the Familiar” 2003 auf Tooth and Nail Records. In der Folge sind sie mit Bands wie Mae, Copeland, Emery, Further Seems Forever, Juliana Theory, Twothirtyeight, Spitalfield, As Tall As Lions, Gatsby’s American Dream, Waking Ashland, Mewithoutyou, Anberlin, Brandtson und Watashi Wa getourt und war auf Deep Elm´s Emo Diaries Chapter 8 Sampler vertreten.
Nach einer Reunion Show beim Joshua fest 2018 entschied sich die Band ihr neues Album “1,000 Years (Like a Day)“ via Indie Vision Music zu releasen.
