Fun Times with the DMV

As I sit here in what is referred to as the county office building parking lot it occurs to me, how ludicrous it all is. Whenever we go register a vehicle we're doing nothing more than asking the king or queen if it's okay if we drive some type of conveyance that we bought and paid for. Do we ever actually stop and think about this how ridiculous it all is? We live in a construct made up of other constructs in the name of constructing a society.
Imagine what would happen if we all just stopped begging for permission to do what we could do without permission. Why do we require permission to exist? Would we not have a simpler and more just society if we all simply agreed to not relinquish our own authority for some magical collective? True freedom can only ever exist on a plane where there is no power structure. Only by taking back all authority over ourselves can we ever be truly free.
