This is a really great post. The four sanskrit words make a lot of sense Dukkha, Samudāya, Nirodha, Magga.

"Knowing things are constantly arising and falling away, may let you see that trying to cling to things is going to cause suffering. And if our lives are driven by our desires that is not the way to alleviate some of this suffering."

Not like living the life of a hermit, but to make the distinction of what one wants and what one really needs is something I find really interesting to question.
