I’ve had some chronic health problems as well. It’s very frustrating especially when people think your not sick.

That is most definitely the most frustrating part! Each person looks at you like your nutz, hello can’t you hear me coughing!?!
Least they were straight forward this time, the doc said... “obviously something is not right but it’s not your lungs as you have 💯 blood oxygenation while resting, may drop when active but that cannot be tested without a full physical” then he said outright they have done all they can do and now require input from a specialist just need to get the appropriate test done first.
The trouble is mucus build up but the answer of why cannot be answered without knowing what’s causing the irritation and where exactly the irritation is.
I am booked for a full spectrum blood test and the important one a pulmonary breathing test which will get me into the specialist. 4-8 week waiting for that breathing test, I am just supposed to be aware that I could become pneumonic by that time and take myself into the hospital if I am.
His words “there is no reason for a young man like yourself with an athletes heart and lungs to be coughing as you are” ... thanks for the backhanded compliment doc 🤦♂️
