Send. He clicked the left mouse button and released a deep sigh. 'That should do it,' he thought.

Badda bing bong. 'Huh? A response already?'

He clicked on the unread email.

"Dallas, Thank you for letting me know."

"Ohhh, that woman," he said to the vacant room. His small office was decorated with all the affection a spartan would lavish on his domicile. And Dallas loved it.

Efficient. Clean. Accurate. Productive. Effective.

'That dim wit. She didn't answer my question. She didn't even read the email!' He raged inside. How had he allowed himself to be surrounded by such incompetence?

Three emails in the past thirty-five minutes. Not one addressed his concern. Most of the vapant responses amounted to nothing more than flippant texts. And none of them stayed on point. Most veered off onto whatever rabbit trail she was exploring the moment his inquiry arrived.
