Hi everyone.
Thank you for stopping by.
The only time my tyres screeched was on a corner in icy weather. It's scary to hear. I skidded badly but miraculously didn't hit anything. Just as well because I couldn't afford car repairs and would certainly have lost my 'no claims' bonus.
I love watching car chases in movies where the tyres screech, although they are probably dubbed on. It really adds to the exciting atmosphere for me. If I was a movie maker, I'd insist on screeching tyres in my films.

Hi @deemarshall! It is scary to lose control of your car on icy roads. That happened to me once too. It is a good thing that neither you or I were hurt.

You have a garden angle for sure.
I mainly see movies from the USA with screeching tires and more car wrecks as one can count. Such a shame and waste of these cars is what I always think.
