5-Minute FreeWrite: "Hello Adele!"
I did not need to convince my husband if we could watch Adele's concert last year. He is also a big fan. The moment that the promoters announced that Adele was going to have a concert here in Australia in March 2017, we knew we had to buy the tickets as soon as possible. For sure, the concert was going to be a sell-out. We did not want to miss out on the opportunity of seeing her perform live.
I was right. As soon as the tickets were sold in the first couple of hours, the tickets were almost sold out. But I was quick. I managed to get us the seats not too far from the stage because we wanted to see Adele not only on the big screen but also in person, where we could actually see her face.
On 23rd November 2016, I posted it on Facebook.
Then I got the actual tickets in January 2017.
Unfortunately on the concert day itself, my phone died and I was not even able to take photos or videos of Adele. But at least, I lived in the moment, saw and watched Adele through my eyes and not through my phone. How surreal! It was a dream come true. Definitely an #unforgettableexperience! It was also our post #anniversarydate!

Am glad that you managed to get the ticket despite the sell-out. The memories you had captured in your brain still stay in spite of mobile phone's battery was off.
