@carolkean

The weekend FreeWrite by @carolkean, worked the three prompts. I could see the couple, how different they were from each other, and yet they were there for each other. The craziness that was happening around them for who they were. How they deflected the situation with a practiced move, only to find out that a stranger was in it with them. Accept it wasn't true... or was it? ~ @kaerpediem

@jerrytsuseer

"We Are the Bridge" by @jerrytsuseer is a freewrite poetry entry, and I hope it's o.k. to include those here. I love the way he explains the need to break out of our loneliness and isolation and cross the bridge to companionship. ~ @scribblingramma

@whatisnew

"Sunday Family Dinner" by @whatisnew just cracked me up. In it you will meet the wonderful cook who prepares the family meals despite an aching back and a cane, until she falls and is fatally injured. How can a story with such a sad ending be so funny? ~ @scribblingramma

@wandrnrose7

"The Instructions" by @wandrnrose7 beautifully expressed many of the good reasons for saying "Take Care." She neatly described situation after situation where it is exactly the right thing to say. ~ @scribblingramma

@fitinfun

Today I would love to shine the light on a freewrite by @fitinfun prompted with Queen of Hearts where she shares her very frightening and deeply personal battle with heart problems due to a weight problem. Her son also shares a genetic hear problem. She has arrived at better health due to choices to lose that weight and I celebrate her victory! Congratulations! ~ @wandrnrose7

@mariannewest

I also read a freewrite by our own @mariannewest which begs to be read from prompt
jam tomorrow. This story of a struggling musician who found his voice through music is utterly captivating and inspired me. Do give it a read and upvote it you can! ~ @wandrnrose

@scribblingramma

I found a fun weekend freewrite by @scribblingramma. A middle aged man goes to the grocery store and sees a woman he once knew when he was a teenager, 40 years ago. A lot of crazy things can happen in that span of time but you will never guess just how crazy. The funny, surprise ending made me laugh out loud and I am sure it you will make you laugh too. ~ @whatisnew

@felt.buzz

"The Queen of Hearts" by @felt.buzz is wonderfully gory, disgusting, and wicked. You should read it if you haven't, just so you can be grossed out. I can't recommend reading it just before or after eating, however. ~ @scribblingramma

made me laugh - the inflatable flamingos were just perfect - in what universe? - and the fiance who'd been more than a little annoyed already with her impulse purchases: "their small house was becoming rather full of unwanted and redundant items, whilst their bank account was becoming rather empty of useful currency" -- stop the wedding, man, do not proceed until this shopping-addicted hoarder is cured! Wow! This is funny and all-too-familiar (who doesn't have a money-wasting family member?). Your command of Deep POV (Point of View) is exemplary. Without verbal clutter of she felt-thought-wondered-decided, you pull us right into the character's mind. Bravo! I'm envious of how much you convey in so few words, so I'm gonna go off and sulk for a bit, then pick myself up and get back into the fray. Thank you @felt.buzz for a very welcome laugh today. ~ @carolkean
